Cotton crochet thread (size T10 (cone)polyester yarn recommended)
Steel crochet hook size 1.25 mm
Scissors
Tapestry needle for finishing
Abbreviations Used
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
sp – space
st – stitch
Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to create your beautiful doily:
Start with a magic ring or chain 6 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring
Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc into the ring, join with sl st to top of beginning ch-3 (12 dc).
Round 2: Ch 4 (counts as tr), tr in same st, ch 1, 2 tr in next st, ch 1 repeat around, join (24 tr).
After finising the round 2
Round 3: Ch 3, dc in next tr, ch 2, dc in next 2 tr, ch 2 repeat around, join with sl st.
After finising the round 3
Round 4: Make a sl.st. on the top of the 2dctog. and another to the ch 2
space.
Ch 3,1dc to the space of ch 2 below.ch
1 another 2dc to the same space.
* 2dc, ch 1, 2dc(a shell) * repeat from * to *. At the end join with sl.st. to the 3rd ch of the beginning 3 ch
After finishing the Round 4
Round 5: Make a sl.st. on to the dc below
and another to the ch 1 space of the shell below. Make 3ch, 1dc to the
ch 1 space below. ch1 another 2 dc to the same
space. Make a sc to the space between two shells. *2dc, ch 1,2dc, 1sc* At the end join with sl.st. to the 3rd ch of the beginning 3 ch.
After finishing the Round 6 Round 7: Make a sl.st. on to the dc below
and another sl.st. to the ch 1 space of the shell below. Make a Shell in
shell ch 3 a sc to the sc below of the previous round. At the end join with
sl.st. to the 3rd ch of the beginning 3 ch. 
After finishing round 7
Round 8
Make 12 ch and join to the ch 1 space
of the neighbouring shell.*12h,1sc*repeat from * to *
After finishing round 8
Round 9:
Make 14 dc to the ch 12 space .Repeat. At the end join to the 1st
dc with a sl. St. d fasten off. When you fasten off, extend the loop and cut it
in the middle. Hide the remaining piece.
Completed Doily
Fasten off and weave in ends using a tapestry needle.
